A Book of Mad World
In this book design, I wanted to design a book of Mad World, which is a song by Gary Jules, Michael Andrews.
This book was designed like many rooms connecting without an end, which is just like the singing words "When people run in circles, it's a very very mad world, mad world." The "small windows" on the page could guide the audience to see the inner page's photos. The photos were taken by me and connected with the feeling when I listened to this song.
In the cover page design, I used lines to sew the name Mad World. Simple but can show the endless meaning of the song. The contrast of the materials and colours are strong and show the conflicts in the inner world.
